An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Kuwait City. First ranked KuwaitiQadsia faced 4th ranked Qatari Al Arabi . Host Qadsia (4-2) defeated guests from Doha (2-4) 89-77 . Qadsia dominated down low during the game scoring 44 of its points in the paint compared to Al Arabi 's 24. Nigerian-American power forward Chinemelu Elonu (206-1987, college: Texas A&M) had a double-double by scoring 17 points and 17 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) to lead the charge for the winners and Abdullah AlSaeid (195-1988) chipped in 23 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Qadsia's coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side Bahrain point guard Mustafa Ali (177-2002) responded with 27 points and 8 rebounds and Latvian power forward Artjoms Butjankovs (204-1991, agency: BIG) scored 17 points and 9 rebounds. Five Al Arabi players scored in double figures. Qadsia maintains first position with 4-2 record, which they share with Al-Manama. Al Arabi lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the third place with four games lost. They share the position with Al-Ahli and Al Ittihad.
